Nubscrubs Clan Rules

We may be Nubscrubs, but we still have standards. We're not super strict (after all, we love to have fun), but in order to keep our clan effective in war and to be courteous to our fellow clashers, we have laid out some rules. If you repeatedly break these rules, we'll have to kick you from the clan.

General rules:
  1. No builders huts (or other buildings) in corners to slow down attackers. It doesn't work if the attacker is prepared for it, and it's just plain being a jerk. This applies to both regular bases and war bases.
  2. If a troop request asks for a specific kind of troops, don't donate anything else.
  3. Don't ask for hard to train troops all of the time. This applies to balloons and anything above them, especially dragons and PEKKAs. In general, requesting these troops for war attacks is acceptable, but requesting them constantly is a pain to the people who have to train them. If you request dragons all of the time, don't be surprised if no one gives you dragons after a while.
  4. If your troops are much lower level than the troops of the person requesting, they probably aren't very helpful. In particular, low level balloons are much worse than high level balloons since they get much better at each level.
  5. For troops requests which don't mention a specific type of troops, archers are usually the best thing to send since they attack both ground and air troops and are ranged. They're probably the best troop in the game for general use, although other ranged units like wizards and dragons are always welcome.
  6. Make sure you are active and upgrade your base. If new players are still below Town Hall 5 two weeks after joining the clan, I will kick them. If you are actually an active player, it shouldn't be hard to get to TH5 in 2 weeks.
  7. Likewise, prove you are active in each league season by donating troops and/or making an attack to get yourself into a league. If you are still not in a league and haven't donated at all one week into the league season, I'll kick you for inactivity.
War participation policy:
  1. If you do not want to be in clan wars, set your war status to opt-out! If your status is set to opt-in and you are selected to be in a war, you are expected to abide by the clan war rules. I WILL kick players if they are set to opt-in and fail to follow the war rules.
  2. I will attempt to select war participants from players who have earned stars in past clan wars. If you want to be in wars, make sure you earn stars for the clan.
  3. I will exclude players who have joined recently (Who have "new" below their names) from clan wars. This is to prevent players who join and leave soon afterwards from hurting our war performance. If you're new and want to be in war, just wait a couple days and you'll be in the next one.
War rules:
  1. Use your attacks in clan wars. Players who are opted in and fail to make war attacks will be kicked without warning.
  2. (or 1b) Don't waste your war attacks. This applies to using intentionally bad/cheap attacks (such as barbarian spam) and attacking bases which have already been 2 or 3 starred, etc. See this post for details.
  3. Don't donate low-level or weak troops to war bases. Generally we like to donate dragons to any base that can hold them and Wizards to the others, so any weaker troops that take up space will just prevent us from donating better troops.
  4. Follow our war base guidelines to make your war base strong against enemy attacks. They can be found on the base guidelines page.
  5.  Follow the attack guidelines. Read the whole page up until the town hall level you are at, because some basic advice isn't repeated. Failure to follow the attack guidelines will result in a warning followed by being kicked.
